Or Goal Is...
The City of Sheridan Solid Waste Collection Division prides itself on customer service and satisfaction. Our goal is to give the public the best possible service at a reasonable cost.
Please Help Us Out...
Please have your cans at the curb on time (by 6:00 a.m.) and make sure that vehicles do not obstruct your can. Do not overload containers or pack them so tightly that contents will not fall out. Please bag all trash when possible. Make sure drivers have safe and convenient access to cans. Please make sure your cans are faced the correct direction for pick-up, lid should open towards the street or alley.
Hazardous materials, paint and vehicle batteries are not collected curbside. Do not set carts close to obstructions such as mail boxes, fire hydrants, parked cars or utility poles. All materials must fit into your carts or cans with the lids closed properly. A closed lid will prevent tampering by pets, minimize odors, and block rainwater. Do not block sidewalks with cans or bags.
Regulations...
The following are regulations in regards to waste collection for 100 gallon and 300 gallon automated containers and commercial 2-yard dumpsters:
- No construction debris.
- No concrete, mud or dirt. These materials need to be disposed of at the landfill.
- No hot ashes (cold ashes that have been allowed to cool down are ok.)
- No tires or batteries.
- No oil or paint.
- Tree branches must be cut short enough to fit into cans loosely.
