Solid Waste Division - Recycling
Sheridan County citizens currently throw away approximately 7.64 pounds of garbage per person, per day! That’s nearly twice the national average. 75% of materials that are thrown away are resources, not waste. As our existing landfill approaches capacity, it is increasingly important that our community reduce, reuse, or recycle as much waste as possible.
For your convenience, a number of recycling drops are available throughout the community. Click here for a description of recyclable materials and a map of recycling drop locations.
