Joint Planning Area Land Use Plan
Working in conjunction with Sheridan County, The City of Sheridan is currently working on a joint land use plan for the area approximately 2-3 miles around the city.  This joint plan represents a critical coordination that will help ensure that future growth, development, and preservation reflect community values.  The plan involves taking careful stock of available resources and considering different potential scenarios that reflect the communities future.  The resulting plan will help guide both City and County policy decisions

Participating in the JPA Land Use Plan
There are a number of different ways that community residents can participate in the JPA Land Use Plan:
    •  Attend meetings, events and presentations.  Future meetings will be listed on this page, and
    • Review the meeting summaries and plan materials that are available here online.
    • Take a moment to fill out a comment form.  Forms are available online here (Note: requires Adobe Acrobat to view.), or from the City Planning Office located on the 2nd Floor of City Hall (55 Grinnell Plaza)
