The owners / managers of the property with alarms that are responded to will be charged according to the following fee schedule. The Sheridan Police Department will send response to electrical / electronic alarms ending at privately operated terminals and reported to the Sheridan Police Department by telephone. Should this happen, response will continue when the following has occurred:

| First false alarm in 30 days | No Charge | |
| Second false alarm in 30 days | $25.00 | |
| Third false alarm in 30 days | $50.00 |
Training has been received by the person(s) who are activation alarms in error. Verification of the training must be sent to us.
If the false alarms are due to system malfunction, the system must be checked and repaired by a competent technician and we must receive verification of the repairs.
Billing will be based on the last 30 calendar days from the most recent false alarm. For you convenience, a statement will be sent to the business property owner each time your alarm is responded to.
