Calling All Volunteers – Community Cleanup at South Park

A community clean up detail is needed to help remove old fencing and miscellaneous debris at the recently acquired South Park, a 38 acre natural area and future pathway location.  Come prepared to heave and lift.  Some fencing is barbed so proper clothing and leather gloves are a must!  We’ll meet Saturday, Aug. 7 at 9 a.m. at the South Park parking area located about 200 yards west of the bridge on Brundage Lane.  We think that with enough people we can get the project done in a couple of hours.  The City will haul and dispose of fencing and provide drinking water.  Please call the Mayor’s office at 674-6483 to offer your help and thank you!
