Sheridan Fire-Rescue Apparatus

 Engine 1
Engine 1 sometimes referred to as E1 is used for structure fires, vehicle fires, extrication, and EMS backup.  This vehicle is ALS (advanced life support) equipped.  The drive train is 4x4.  The vehicle is used also in county fires and mutual aid support.  The vehicle responds to HAZMAT (hazardous materials) incidents.  This is a first run vehicle November through March.  Year is 1987 Spartan.
 Engine 2
Engine 2 sometimes referred to as E2 is used for structure fires, vehicle fires, extrication, and EMS backup.  This vehicle is ALS (advanced life support) equipped.  The drive train is 2x4.  The vehicle is used also in county fires and mutual aid support.  The vehicle responds to HAZMAT (hazardous materials) incidents.  This is a first run vehicle April through October.  Year is 1987 Spartan.
HAZMAT
HAZMAT (Hazardous materials) response vehicle, it is also used for water-ice-rope rescues. The vehicle may also be used for mobile command center duties during critical incidences.
MS-98 MS-98 This is a 2001 Wheeled Coach.  It is a first run ambulance, it is 4x4 equipped, and contains ALS (advanced life support) equipment.
MS-99
MS-99 This is a 2001 Wheeled Coach. It is a first run ambulance, it is 4x4 equipped, and contains ALS (advanced life support) equipment.
Engine 3
Engine 3 sometimes referred to as E3 is used for wild land grass fires.
Truck 1
Truck 1 with its 75-foot sutphin tower.  The vehicle is a 2001 Qunit used for structure fires, high angle rescues.  This vehicle is a 2nd vehicle.
Unit 115
Unit 115 is a 1988 Becker/E-One, 4-wheel drive wild land firefighting vehicle.  The unit is also used for structure fires and extrication calls in auto accidents.
Unit 116
Unit 116 is a 1986, 4-wheel drive water tender and pump.  The vehicle has a 1500 gallon water supply used for fighting wild land and structure fires.
